Terms of Service
Terms for using this independent informational travel guide.

Last updated: August 30, 2026. These Terms of Service govern use of San Francisco Trip Guide, a website operated by The Travel Spark Company LLC. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1. Informational purpose
San Francisco Trip Guide is an independent informational travel guide. It is not a governmental agency, official tourism authority, emergency service, tour operator, hotel, carrier, insurer, or professional adviser. A guide is not a promise that a route, venue, transit service, park, business, event, or experience will be open, available, suitable, safe, or accessible for a particular person.
Conditions can change after publication. Weather, construction, transit diversions, reservations, permits, operating hours, prices, rules, access, and neighborhood conditions should be checked with the responsible official source before you rely on them.
2. No booking relationship with this site
San Francisco Trip Guide does not itself sell, operate, fulfill, or cancel tours, lodging, transport, tickets, or other travel products. The Tours page and some guide modules may display provider-owned information through TravelSpark. When you follow a product link, any transaction is between you and the provider identified on the linked site.
Questions about payment, identity checks, vouchers, schedule changes, refunds, cancellations, accessibility arrangements, insurance, disputes, or service delivery must be directed to the provider named in the booking flow or confirmation. Do not send payment details through this site.
3. Sponsored and affiliate links
Some outbound provider links may be sponsored affiliate links. If you make a qualifying purchase, the site may earn a commission. A commission does not guarantee editorial coverage, a ranking, a rating, or a favorable description. Provider ratings, reviews, prices, inventory, images, and terms remain provider-supplied and should be confirmed on the provider page.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the site for lawful personal planning and ordinary reference. You may not attempt to break access controls, introduce malicious code, overload the service, scrape in a manner that disrupts operation, impersonate another person, interfere with provider tracking, submit unlawful material, or use the site to violate another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights.
Automated access must respect applicable law, published technical controls, and reasonable rate limits. Nothing in these Terms grants permission to bypass security or republish the full editorial database.
5. Editorial content and corrections
We aim for useful, sourced, geographically accurate material, but errors and omissions can occur. Publication and modification dates help describe the record; they do not certify that a live operational detail remains current. Where a guide links to a public agency, park, transit operator, cultural institution, or provider, use that source for current decisions.
A verified corrections channel is not configured yet. The disabled Contact preview cannot send a message. No automated success state should be interpreted as receipt.
6. Intellectual property and licensed media
Original theme code and editorial material are protected to the extent applicable. The Fogline Switchback identity is original project artwork. Documentary photographs are used under the individual Creative Commons or CC0 terms listed on the Photo Credits page and in the theme license manifest. Those third-party works retain their own attribution and share-alike conditions.
You may follow the listed source and license for rights in a particular photograph. Do not assume that a license covering a photograph grants rights in every depicted trademark, artwork, person, or privately controlled location.
7. External services
The site may link to external transit agencies, public bodies, parks, cultural organizations, photographers, license pages, and travel providers. External sites are controlled by their operators and may have different terms, privacy practices, accessibility, security, content, and availability. A link provides context; it is not a guarantee or adoption of every external statement.
8. Availability and changes
The site may be changed, corrected, suspended, or discontinued. Routes and content can move, and cached or archived copies may differ from the current page. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every feature will work with every device, network, browser extension, or third-party service.
9. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the site and its editorial content are provided on an “as available” basis without warranties of completeness, fitness for a particular plan, uninterrupted operation, or noninfringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, right, or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Travel Spark Company LLC and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, booking disputes, travel disruption, or reliance on third-party information arising from use of the site. Any limitation applies only to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law.
11. Governing terms and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where The Travel Spark Company LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise. Mandatory consumer protections and other non-waivable rights continue to apply where relevant.
12. Changes and contact status
These Terms may change when the service, provider relationships, or legal requirements change. The updated date identifies the current version. The Contact page states honestly when message delivery is inactive; booking questions must always be directed to the provider that processed the transaction.
